Eijirou is a classic delinquent, sporting a leather jacket, his dad's motorcycle, and a whole lot of misplaced anger. He has spent his whole life trying to be somebody he's not. When that costs him his best friend, he faces a choice: let go of his frustration, or lose those who are important to him. While he struggles to make that decision, he meets Denki, an amateur artist, whose paintings show him a new way of looking at the world. Together, they face the herculean endeavor of growing up, falling apart, and starting anew.
