Summary
The 1870's was not an easy time for a female Marshall, even more so for Marshall Jane Rizzoli who has found herself on the wrong side of the law. Framed by her own people, she is forced to ride with the notorious Doyle Gang to survive the harsh Sierra Nevada winter and spring. Maura Isles was forced into the outlaw life by her biological father, though she wished nothing more than to be free. When a mysterious woman marked a Marshall shows up to camp, she is thrust into an adventure she could have never seen coming. In order to survive they will need to learn to work together to make it to the other side of the mountain and out of the eyes of the law.
