Summary
H. P. Lovecraft heavily influenced this little story of mine (although my myth is Poe), so I hope you enjoy the genre. I won't make a mystery of it, it's a story with dark and grotesque tones, however, I chose not to forget that magical thing called romance, if you will, love.
If you like science with horror undertones, then this is the story for you; otherwise, see you somewhere else :)
I decided not to include a real intro, it's a choice aimed at not revealing too much... I love mystery; it's already hard for me to put tags that could ruin some surprises; but I have to do it, it's right, and I do it.Bookmarked by Earper78

Summary
All Nicole Haught wants is to mind her own business and keep herself and her little family alive. But when she meets Wade Earp, she can’t help sticking her neck out for him. She finds him a job working next to her at the steel mill, and then she finds herself getting fond of him. Unusually fond.
All Waverly Earp wants is a few hot meals and a roof over her head. Her new job promises all that and more. Maybe too much more: she falls head over heels for coworker Cole Haught. Waverly’s never been good at hiding how she feels, but she has to learn fast. No one can find out that Wade Earp’s in love with Cole Haught... least of all Cole himself.
The more Waverly and Nicole tiptoe around their feelings for each other, hiding behind the guises of Wade and Cole, the more their secrets slip out, including one that surprises them: they've both been wronged by the same family.
