After waving goodbye to the store clerk, Wriothesley made his way down the street. He could just take the Aquabus but, aw, what the hell. He was having a good day, dammit, despite his previous fumble in front of Kam—Ayato. He’ll just ice-bridge to the Opera Epiclese. Enjoy the sun while he can. It took him a bit to get from the center of the Court of Fontaine to the water’s edge, but once he got there, Wriothesley took a deep breath. The smell of the ocean, the sound of the birds and—coughing?
What?
Wriothesley spun around, looking for the source. There. Further down the shoreline, there was a figure, hunched over and coughing. Wriothesley jogged over to them and—
“Freminet?”
The boy took a sharp inhale, grasping his chest.
“Mr—” he coughed “—Mr. Wriothesley?”
“Hey—Don’t—Don’t try to speak. Catch your breath.” Wriothesley kneeled down, setting his bag in the sand beside him.

Summary
For Freminet, taking the brunt of what he thought was an acid attack aimed towards Spina di Rosula's boss was nothing more than a split second decision. He wouldn't call himself a hero by any stretch of the imagination, and he wouldn't say he led his life with noble and virtuous intentions either...
...but when the urge to help someone comes to him, he ponders little over it. That's just what a good person would do, and Freminet desperately wants to be a good.
(Still, maybe he should have paid more attention to just what was being splashed.)
OR
Freminet dissolves into water. That really should have been the end of it, but it seems like the ocean wasn't keen on letting him go yet.
