    Summary

A light click pops louder than a gunshot in your head, even though it was quieter than any sound you’ve ever heard. It’s like the pressure on the platform changes in the time it takes for you to pull the door open. The door creaks for a moment…

    then it stops.

It stays there, cracked open slightly, with your hand on the door. Shining, bright, white light begins to spill at the seams, stretching out towards you but not quite reaching you just yet.

There is no more sound. No cheering, no giggling, no soft words reach your ears as it all slows down.

There is nothing except the woman who is now standing in front of you. You are face to face with the symbol of Space, god robe fabric singed with ever-burning green fire, and you tilt your head up to the empty void where you know her eyes should be.

    OR:

At the door at the end of the game, a Muse and an Heir discuss the future of their reality and what it would take to change it.

    Summary

But at the end of your little trek, following more broken branches and finding more of the blue… whatever they were, you find a very… strange creature. You know exactly what it is; you’d have to be an idiot to not know what the hell that thing was. The problem was you never expected to see one. Why would you? Its large body was curled in on itself and its long tail wrapped tightly around it. Little patches of red oozed from where it’s bright blue scales must have been torn off as it crashed into the trees.
“Fuck.” You mutter, breaking the heavy silence of the forest. Of all the things to find, it has to be a fucking dragon.

    Summary

It started as most stories do: with an idiot protagonist.

Grian, however, was not granted the luxury of an end following his death. Instead, he’d be whisked back to his old life as a Watcher. Grian embedded himself into Hermitcraft with the knowledge that it was an interlude. He thought he had plenty of time.

    He didn’t. He died.

Strangely though, after pleading for another chance, Grian was granted one. Just one little addendum.

    YOU TELL THEM.
    “…what?”
YOU TELL THE HERMITS. YOU TELL THEM ABOUT US. YOU EXPLAIN CLEARLY WHO YOU REALLY ARE.
