Peggy’s hands had held guns, a dead man’s head, had carried the weight of a broken childhood and her own broken leg, but she had never held a person the way she was holding Dottie right now. Delicately, but with a force similar to the ricochet of her pistol she usually grips so very tightly. Now she was gripping the surprisingly thin wrists of Dottie. One could imagine such a strong being could impossibly be this petite. But Dottie was always full of surprises.

This story is not really connected to the witches road storyline, it could be after (depending on the ending) or in an au where she doesn't go on the road. Anyway, this is my take on how Rio and Agatha's relationship could have played out, with a little darker twist on it. What if Agatha wanted Rio so badly that she tried everything to have her back?

Summary
When the Byers move to California, Will is lonely, bullied, and struggling with his mental health. When Mike comes to visit, he notices that something is off, but doesn’t know what’s wrong or how to help while his best friend feels so far away even though he's physically there. However, maybe Mike finds the answer after they are brought closer than ever after El is abducted by the government and they end up facing capture, interdimensional monsters, torture, the past, their own feelings, and attempting to prevent the apocalypse. (Post-s3, rewriting s4, and predicting s5).
