Summary
Izaya Orihara worked as a lowkey detective, solving cases to keep the local citizens safe. Most of the cases were petty and meaningless to him, but he found amusement in them, and it kept him out of trouble. Izaya enjoyed his job more than he thought he would. His boss looked out for him and sometimes gave him the odd case but mostly left him in charge, which Izaya preferred; he worked alone.
So what the hell was his boss thinking by giving him a partner convicted of murder?
