Uther accidentally discovers that Arthur has a sexual relationship with his servant Merlin. As he ponders this, Uther becomes more and more intrigued by his beautiful son, who reminds him so much of his lost love Igraine. Uther considers the alternatives, but ultimately (of course!) no one but Arthur will do.
