Summary
Frank kept waiting for things to work themselves out. Like, somehow someone would show up at the ED and retrieve him from the pits of despair. Like the world would correct itself because Frank Langdon was not meant to be in a hospital that saw twelve patients per day with no wife, no kids, and absolutely no friends at all.
Without mincing words, Frank Langdon was entirely, undeniably at rock bottom.

Summary
Frank grips the sides of the sink and forces himself to look in the mirror. The damage is minimal- especially when compared to what his scrub top is hiding. There’s a long cut on his brow from where the broken bottle had rebounded off the wall and caught him in the face. And a swollen purple bruise under his jaw. On their own the injuries would’ve been easy to explain; he could think of a hundred stories off the top of his head to explain them. But together, paired with the fact that he’s sure to be a little slow today, it’s harder. He’s planning on saying he fell off his bike and systematically avoid any other questions

Summary
He couldn’t point to the exact moment when everything started to fall apart.
Maybe it was love that blinded him or the simple fact that she was his wife - the mother of his children. So when she hit him for the first time, it caught him completely off guard. She had never been a violent person. Not in the begginig at least.

Summary
After a divorce, Frank Langdon tells himself that this is finally what brings him peace of mind. He has someone who can handle his moods, someone who knows when to pull him back from the edge. Someone who will stick by him despite all his mistakes. It started as concern, as control, as love that just wants to know who and where he was last night. For his own good, of course. When Frank begins to slowly change into a different image, Robby is all too sure he knows why. And that may be the mistake that could cost them both more than they can imagine.
