    There’s a blonde girl clinging to the edge of the crowd, craning her neck to get a look at Steve as he speaks. She looks just slightly more dishevelled than anyone else crowding the site of the shrine, but one thing in particular stands out: Clint doesn’t recognise her.

    The girl stands at the very back, hair slightly tangled and blowing in the slight breeze. Under normal circumstances, all of the attention would be trained upon her as she stares at the ground and bites her lip to contain a sob.

    These are not normal circumstances. Not in the least.
