Data's head tilted. Worf's hand slipped off his console. Counselor Troi blinked.
Riker slowly turned to look at Q.
Then at Picard.
Then back at Q.
"Q," Riker said carefully, as if addressing a sentient bomb, "Do you…want the Captain to spank you?"

Summary
Stiles takes Peter’s hand in his, making him stop playing with the key and calm down. Peter looks up to Stiles and smiles weakly as he squeezes Stiles’ hand. Stiles can feel the older man relaxing and calming down a little as he keeps touching him. Stiles hates to see Peter like this. Nothing stresses Peter out more than having to go back home.

Summary
Stiles hated being useless, but as a human in a pack of werewolves that's exactly what he was. He could probably have sucked it up if his pack members were able to protect themselves, but with none of them willing to get their hands dirty the threats kept piling up. Worse, he had started to think Deaton had a sinister agenda as well.
Then Stiles discovered what was left of the Nemeton, a guardian tree which could give him the power to protect everyone himself. In order to bond with it and bring it back to full strength he would need the help of an Alpha, one willing to do whatever it took to keep their pack safe no matter how unsavory or illegal. No one fit that role better than Peter. All Stiles had to do was help him become an Alpha again.
(Or: Peter and Stiles protect Beacon Hills by carving a bloody path through their enemies, and fall for each other in the process.)
