Vox knew that Lucifer couldn't hurt him, couldn't hurt any sinner. And all the act, all the power and the apparience was just for show. He was already smelling the victory when Lucifer laughted so hard that some tears of joy escaped from his eyes.
"Oh, you were thinking I was going to fight you? Damn, you are more crazy that what I though, TV. I won't get my hands dirty with your blood, but I have a friend who really wants some revenge on you"

Summary
The day after is the day everything starts to go wrong in the quiet ways.
Lucifer tries to give Alastor space.
Alastor tries to pretend everything is normal and that he is not hovering constantly in subspace, at the edge of a drop and doesn't know how to get out of it, thoughts fuzzy, knees wobbly... and wondering, why no one had called him a good boy in days...
Vox's device had quietly wrecked Alastor's biology in more ways than anyone realizes and it needs the devil to take care of it.
