It had been a good two weeks after the Rock Revolution. Vinyl City is getting fixed, and all the Megastars are on break to help with providing energy to heal their city.
Neon J had recently finished remaking 1010, although he hadn't gotten to the factory yet.
But, he thinks this is enough work. So he's going to sleep now.
...
He felt like he forgot to turn off something though. Probably not important, he thinks.
And then the next morning his troops acted weird.
He checked, and lo and behold.
He left the learning modules on overnight. Which is enough for 1010 to start developing beyond their intended parameters.
He could reset them, but... That feels illegal to do.
So Neon J settled on seeing how this goes. And definitely stopping these bots from putting themselves in danger.

However a wrench was thrown into their plan with rumours of a mysterious man who sells so-called Phantom Desserts, and how it would magically appear a few seconds after a customer had ordered them.
Believing it to be a Digimon, the Tamers went to investigate the mysterious seller, all the while Impmon is having some trouble sleeping.
