Summary
It's been a few months since Columbina Hyposelenea and her friends graduated from school and went their own ways. All of her friends graduated with useful degrees and became well-adjusted members of society, and Columbina has become afraid of people and very familiar with her small apartment, afraid of even the most basic social interaction and disgusted with every aspect of herself. She is forced to face what her reality has become after her friends organize a get together to see each other for first time in months.

Summary
Luda took a sip from her crystal tea cup as her gaze remained on her fellow archon. Furina couldn't maintain eye contact for long so she shifts her focus on the cake in front of her. She takes her fork and stabs a small chunk out of the confectionary. She fights off a shiver as she takes the cold, almost frozen, pastry in her mouth. The sugary sweetness of it doing little to calm her raging nerves.
“I do agree, Furina dearest. Our trades have actually been quite good these past years. Not to mention, there have been no reports of discrimination against my people in your nation. What else is there to improve except political ties,” Luda said thoughtfully. “And what better way to strengthen them than through marriage?”
Furina blinked once. Twice. Three times. Her brain was scrambling to process the words. “M-Marriage?”
“Yes,” Luda replied, a small playful smile gracing her lips. “Not to me, of course. I have had my fair share of marriages in the past already,” she laughs softly but Furina was in no mood for a chuckle.
