Zandie is curious and full of energy. He’s the youngest one among Dottore’s segments and he hangs out alone a lot. Older versions of Dottore tend to dismiss him whenever he disturbs their work. He’s used to it. No one has time for him. After all, he’s just a small kid, the weakest among his kind. He always felt jealous of the adventures the older versions of him could endure anytime they wanted.

Summary
“Stop moving.”
Right. He was instructed to stay immobile. He forgot about that.
Sandrone hums as she dresses him up as if he’s an actual doll, carefully tracing her fingers over his joints. It makes him shiver every once in a while, which she glares at him for. He can’t really stop natural body reactions of his, so he frankly doesn’t know why she gets angry at him for those. It’s not like he’s doing these intentionally.
As she works, Scaramouche stays in place, letting her just do whatever. That’s what they agreed on after all — he stays in place, pliant and not moving an inch, as she does whatever she wants with his body. Like she’s taking care of a human sized doll. So far, she’s done nothing but dress him up and scold him every time he accidentally moved, but that was all.
…It’s starting to get horrendously boring now.

The ground underneath him rumbles for a short moment, and large amounts of debris quickly fall and block the entrance, leaving Xiao trapped and alone with the unknown danger in the dark.
He does not panic, there must be another way out of here, though the only path left is deeper where the sensed peril lies. Xiao takes cautious steps, paying no mind when the next step he takes makes an audible squelch, stepping onto something wet and gooey. Instincts sharp as his spear, he is quick to swing his weapon to what seems an inching tendril, barely visible within the shadows. He misses merely an inch, but he does not let it distract him from the next tendril that touches his boot.
A clean stab to it, there’s a faint shriek as the severed limb wriggles on the ground. Xiao has seen everything, but this doesn’t fail to make his nose scrunch in disgust.
And this time, it does not fail to distract him from what’s coming next.

Xiao expects a shameful end for his own weakness, but what's served to him is a different kind of shameful from what he thinks.
