Summary
Their eyes pass over him without stopping. Not in dismissal, not in discomfort, but with the same lack of awareness they give the walls or the floor. Chan walks closest, close enough that Hyunjin can see the faint crease between his brows, the familiar set of his mouth. He looks healthier than Hyunjin remembers him looking near the end. Stronger, even. None of that changes the fact that he keeps walking.
So do the others.
It takes Hyunjin a few seconds to understand what just happened. At first, he thinks they didn’t notice him. Then he thinks maybe they are pretending. The idea doesn’t last long, because there is no hesitation in them, no flicker of recognition, no reaction at all.

Summary
The word Paramour meant lover, specifically an illicit or secret lover. Since par amour meant “through love”, it implied a relationship based solely on love, often physical love, rather than on social custom or ceremony. Such people existed since forever, especially for the high class. It caused issues though as illicit children, jealousy and estate distribution drama followed those who stepped out of their marriage. A Paramour was now a respected educated individual whose only job was to tend to the emotional and sexual needs of their partner.
To become one, as an omega, Hyunjin had to pass a test made by the Crown Prince, one that would test his etiquette, social skills and ability to satisfy an alpha. Passing the test would turn out to be the easy part. Maybe it was timing, maybe good luck or maybe the need for a change, but regardless why, Hyunjin’s life changed forever as he found himself be not just a Paramour but the Crown Prince’s Paramour. The hard part was almost everything that came after and all because he did the one thing he was not supposed to do.
He fell in love with the Crown Prince, Lee Minho. And then something worse happened.

"What?" There's no way Hyunjin heard that correctly. He looked up at Minho for the first time in a while.
"I could help you explore all the kinks you've been meaning to try. Obviously, we'd have to talk about this a lot more before we started. Lay out boundaries and what not, but if you seriously wanted this, I'm happy to help you, free of charge," Minho said.
OR
Hyunjin has never had good sex before, so Minho offers to give it to him. Because that’s the logical thing to do when his best friend has a history of shitty partners and it’s his job to give good sex to (other rich) men.

Summary
Hyunjin isn’t looking for love. He’s looking for someone rich, someone patient who will tolerate his little bratty behaviour and shower him with gifts.
Minho thinks a sugar arrangement will be uncomplicated with clear rules, no promises of forever, and a beautiful omega who keeps things entertaining.
It works perfectly, until jealousy starts feeling a little too real.
