A story of a past long forgotten.
People tend to disregard the past now that the future is fleeting and uncertain.
Yet by doing so, they remain unaware of how things came to be—the blood, sweat, tears, and lives buried underneath the city’s paved road. The efforts were made to make Last Ebott City the protected city it is in the modern day.
Then again, no one would be able to believe that the lives of thousands in the city started as a whimsical dream from a trio of brothers who built the utopia from the dead soil to the prosperous and self-providing fort that stood the test of time and danger.
Yes.
No one would believe that the childish dream of a young skeleton who saw the world of another universe sparked the fire that would burn with a desire for a hopeful future.

Summary
Peter was alone, mid-way through an existential crisis after the Erasure™ and was dreading the upcoming month of May.
Jason was sick of people telling him how he felt. ‘You don’t need us anymore,’ Artemis had told him, as if saying it would make it true. As if Jason needed someone to justify keeping them around. But three weeks back in Gotham and all Jason felt was fucking bored and lonely.
It was a relief, then, when some random New Yorker was thrown into his living room through a portal straight out of some LSD daydream.
Finally, something interesting to deal with.
Cue some wild family misunderstandings, criminal conspiracies and cults.
Because there’s always a goddamn cult.

Summary
“Wait kid!” And in that moment it came to him, “What if, what if we don’t forget you? What if we send you away?” Strange desperately called out.
“Mr.Strange… ” Peter had a sympathetic look in his eyes and Strange hated it. It wasn’t his life that was being destroyed, so why was Peter looking at him like the victim.
“Listen, I can send you somewhere there is no Peter Parker. There are an infinite number of universes, I can find one.” Strange said, more to himself than to Peter. And he knew this was dark magic, he knew he shouldn’t, but he didn’t care.
“I’ll send you there. Until I can fix this. Until I can bring you back.”
Or: Dr. Strange sends Peter to an alt universe where there are no Avengers, but they do have a thing called a Justice League. And sure Peter is homeless, but that doesn't stop him from being Spider-Man.
