Summary
For the last four years Remus Lupin has devoted his heart and soul to the only greater force he knows to be real- knowledge. After overcoming the kind of struggles and traumas that would topple even the strongest people, he still manages to get accepted to Gryffindor State University to pursue his Master's degree. He had no intentions of finding anything more. And then his roommate Mary insists he go to a house party that plucks at every insecurity he thought he'd been done with.
Sirius Black has only just begun to peek out from under the protective wings of his best friends, Lily and James Potter. The disgraced heir to the Black family business has always been the center of attention, the brightest star in the sky- or at least he pretends to be. Summary
Remus Lupin is a disillusioned werewolf who has mostly turned his back on the Wizarding society, content to work his mundane muggle job. That is until his best friend convinces him to join an exclusive study on the Wolfsbane potion at the well-renowned centre outside of Edinburgh.
Sirius Black is wizarding royalty, or at least he was until he walked away from his pureblood family to follow his own path in life. After travelling the world and pursuing a career in Magizoology he now finds himself working at one of the highest-ranked centres for magical creatures in the Wizarding world.
Their first meeting makes sparks of disdain crackle between them and it seems unlikely that anything, not even the old magic of Edinburgh, will be enough to bridge over the reality of who they are and where they come from.

He sings into the microphone, his eyes shut tight and his hands gripped to the stand as he belts.

“I wrote every song about you.”
~Or. Three years ago, in a Paris nightclub, James sees Regulus dancing and falls for him on the spot. They agree to start a relationship, knowing it will have to end when James goes back to London, on the condition that afterwards they go completely no contact. By the time it ends they're both heartbroken but stick to their agreement and lose contact.
Years later they are still NOT over it and make it absolutely everyone else's problem.
Until James is invited by Sirius to watch his little brother's band and finds his ex stood at the microphone singing an album worth of songs about their month together in Paris.

Summary
The one where Remus is a therapist- and a damn good one- who begins seeing patients who turn out to be the best friends of his new boyfriend, Sirius (who has his own therapist from way back that he loves, thank you very much!)
They don't they all see the same person. Remus can't say because of doctor-patient confidentiality. Remus has to meet Sirius's friends at some point though...
