Summary
“Are you—is this one of those times when you feel like a kid?” he asks gently, not wanting to get too carried away and suggest they pause the movie in favor of heading into his bedroom if Walter is a distinctly not-sexy headspace. Lance doesn’t know how this thing works, exactly, and he wants to be respectful.
“Um. Yes,” Walter admits, hiding his face even more, cheeks hot against Lance’s throat.
Lance pulls his hand out of the onesie. “That’s fine, we don’t have to—“
“No,” Walter says suddenly, reaching for Lance’s wrist and guiding it right back where it was. “I…I like it. When you touch me.”

Summary
“I have heard,” Neuvillette says, each word cautiously ambling off his tongue, “of a game that humans play. A modification to the rules that might entice you to stay a while longer.”
Wriothesley waits, still wearing that smarmy grin, no doubt expecting Neuvillette to propose some obscure and complicated variant of chess.
“The game is typically played with cards,” Neuvillette continues, “but I believe it will work just as effectively as a motivator in this scenario. For each game you win, I shall remove one article of clothing.”
The way the grin slides straight off Wriothesley's face is immensely satisfying, as is the movement of his scarred throat as it violently bobs. “You will— sorry, what?”
During a friendly game of chess, Neuvillette gets his draconic wires crossed.

Summary
Neuvillette chuckles. “I believe you would be able to find a home large enough to accommodate any pet of your choosing.”
“A sumpter beast, then,” Wriothesley says dryly.
Neuvillette hesitates. “Perhaps not so large as that.”
Gentle prompting from Neuvillette pushes Wriothesley down the path of purchasing a home, and one of his neighbors is entirely unexpected.
