Expecting the worse of what's to come, Wednesday just happens to become the roommate of Enid Sinclair, a bright and bubbly she-wolf who's all but the opposite of Wednesday herself.

Shelby may be a bit over her head. When she came to the region of Empires on command of the higher witches, she had wanted to prove herself, show that she wasn’t as bad at magic as they said she was. It had all gone well so far, Shelby had completed every request with no mistake (baring that one mishap with fWhip’s ears) and settled in quite well for herself.
So when Katherine knocked on her door one chilly morning, cashing in that IOU Shelby had given her in exchange for her hat, Shelby hadn’t been worried at all. Katherine needed help with magic? No problem! Shelby’s a master of magic! She could break one little curse.
Now, standing on the border of light and dark, Shelby realizes that this might be a bit out of her league.
