Summary
Chan reaches carefully into the garbage, his fingers brushing against crumpled wrappers and stale fries, trying to get ahold of the cat without scaring it or making it angry with him. That is probably the last thing he wants to do right now.
He is as careful as he possibly can be with the bag when he picks it up, and he can feel something soft and warm nestled inside. As he pulls the bag closer, a pair of fluffy black ears emerges.

“Oh my god,” Minho breathed, voice quiet but wild with relief. “Please don’t leave again. You can’t do that, okay? He doesn’t sleep without you and I yelled at Chan, I swear, he won’t growl again. I told him. I scolded him. Did you see the cat tree? Do you like it? I’ll have him build ten more if you want. Just please. Please don’t leave again.”
Yongbok just blinked again, as if considering the ramble, before casually turning around and climbing back into the crib. He curled up beside Jeongin with practiced ease, his head resting gently on the baby’s soft belly, one paw twitching as he adjusted. His eyes drifted closed.

Summary
Jeongin hums lazily in response, eyes sliding shut again. He stretches, then, full-bodied, his toes curling and his arms above his head as he clenches his hands into tight fists. Little paws, Minho thinks, close to maniacal. Any other thought evaporates from his mind as he watches Jeongin arch his back the best he can with all the extra weight in the way, and Minho’s eyes immediately get stuck on the swell of his stomach. It’s become a habit. An embarrassing one. It can’t be helped, really, not when Jeongin is so beautiful. Always, but somehow like this - pregnant - he’s brighter. Livelier. Like maybe there is some cosmic force that agrees this is something he was always supposed to experience.
