It’s not until Frank is strumming out the last few notes of the song he opened his eyes again.
The first thing he saw was Mikey on the ground, blood soaking the front of his shirt with two torn stab wounds. His face is paled and his eyes blink slowly as his fingers weakly continue strumming the bass, like he has to keep playing no matter what.
The last few chords of the song are entirely forgotten as Frank’s heart shattered in his chest and he looked up to meet the eyes of the Clown, who stared at Frank in horror.
