“Plenty of things.” John lists them off on his fingers as they merge with the flow of foottraffic. “Political corruption, abuse of power, exploitative workplace practices, corporate overreach, systematic biases in the penal system, killing all landlords, the horrendous state of what passes for international politics and human rights. Also my opinions on concept albums and the quality of video games with pigs in them.”
All he gets back is silence for a few moments. “You’re still joking.”
“No, I’m very serious about the quality of pig video games,” John tells him, with full sincerity.
