Summary
The ether howled, and reality made to adapt to yet another sudden change in the tapestry of the future.
The world had done so before and would do so again, like it always had to when parts of its fabric were taken and erased from existence, demanding a fresh well of ink for the play’s pages yet to be written.
The current part of the spectacle hadn’t ended the way its director had desired. An actor quite obstreperous had decided to go off-script, to not take their leave off the stage, and the performance was in dire need of adjustment, lest the audience be dissatisfied and the curtains drawn.
A small intermission, then on with the show!
Yet another expectation not coming to pass.

Summary
Denji was not the only one to awake from a dream of a life he swore was real. The Control Devil, Makima, wakes up at her desk from a dream that troubles her, now she lives with memories of two different lives. Although one life was much more hazy than the other. All she knew was that she was killed at the end of it by a strange blonde boy with a face she can both picture and not remember.
Both Denji and Makima both want to know why they remember each other so clearly, but also somehow see each other as strangers. As fate would have it, their paths were always destined to cross again.
Only this time, they shared the same goal.
Find this Hero of Hell they mysteriously forgotten and remembered.

He was too late.
Pochita was able to come back to life, but before he could give his heart to Denji, he was sadly passed.
Denji made him promise to live a normal life in his body if he ever died. Pochita, wanting to fulfil his best friends dying wish, obliged. Thus, the Hero of Hell became the Chainsaw Fiend. Denji wanted him to be able to live a normal life, and have a normal death. This is a journey of a devil wanting to live out his dear friend's dream, and Pochita will do everything in his power to ensure that he will be able to do just that. There will be trials and tribulations, but so did all lives. How will Pochita fare against the bitter reality of the world before him?
It all started by taking that first step.
