    Finals were approaching, he was behind on three assignments, and Hastur had cried from midnight until about four in the morning, giving him only a few hours of sleep. He would've loved to crash in his car for a quick nap between classes and totally would have done so had he not had the baby today, but Derek had to go to one of his many doctor's appointments. There was always the daycare run by the child development students, which was very convenient so long as you didn't have classes after four, but it was 4:22 and Careers in Botany 201 started soon.
