Summary
On his first day arriving in Luofu, Yingxing unintentionally commits a felony and has a serendipitous encounter with a beautiful, mysterious stranger.
A month later, he happens upon the man again at a festival. This time, he earns himself a proper introduction.“You want to go to the roof to view the performance? Surely that must be illegal.”
“Is it?” Yingxing challenges. He grins when the man doesn’t affirm, uncertain whether such a law exists.
The man cranes his neck to assess the buildings. “I’m not going to climb onto the roof like an ape.”
Yingxing’s smile widens with mischief. “Then please allow your humble servant to bring you up, Your Highness,” he says with a little bow, hand over his heart.
The man takes a wary step back, and then another when Yingxing straightens and follows, moving in exactly~ the direction Yingxing needs him to.
