Setting: Mauraders era, fifth year
After a horrible prank on Snape, Sirius is being shunned by his best friends, his first love, and is constantly being taunted by Slytherin students, artificial human princess, Takahashi Melody, who's also a Slytherin and the same age as Sirius decided to invite the heartbroken Gryffindor over for the holidays with her family. She is well aware of the incident but Sirius never had any malicious intent. He was mentally exhausted from Snape constantly on their asses 24/7, and Snape was curious about where Remus went every month.
This interaction creates a chaotic but loving friendship and it allows Sirius to learn more about Melody, her family, ect
" ...Why are you doing this?" Sirius asked. Melody gently smiles. " It's to give your heart a break, Sirius."
