"It would have been a pretty thing, once.
The metal was a dull, mottled color, and it was twisted and torn so that it barely resembled a circle. But if you held it up to the light and half-closed your eyes, you could almost see the elegant gold, sparkling here and there with vibrant gems long since fallen out."
In which the crown of the High Kings of the Noldor somehow ends up in the Shire, being passed around as a birthday present.

Summary
She had begun to hope for a different future. She had thought that maybe, just maybe, Winter could rid her of her demon and she could truly live a normal life. She had dreamed of having children, of seeing Vordan prosper under her role, and most of all, she had dreamed of growing old with Marcus.
She had allowed herself to hope. And now those hopes have turned to ashes and dust in her heart, because Winter is dead, Infernivore is gone, and Raesinia is still here.

Movie-verse canon meets fandom-verse, due to random parallel universe crossover happening. Clint handles it quite well, all things considered. The other Clint... well.

Summary
“I hate Night Vale,” Phil says with a sigh, in the kind of voice that verbally suggests the frustrated pinching of the bridge of one’s nose. Or, at least, that’s how the voice on the radio describes it just a second later.
In which Phil and Clint are on assignment in Night Vale, the local radio station has taken to narrating their every movement, Phil hates Night Vale as much as Clint loves it, and they manage to have a moment in spite of that.

Summary
It is no secret that they all have things they've forgotten.
Feanor is pretty sure that the thing he's forgotten is a person.
He's also pretty sure that he's not very good at letting go of people although he's not sure why that's a character trait he ever would have needed to test.
