“I-I’m sorry, Zoro,” he murmurs, trembling with remorse and briefly lowering his gaze as his eyes begin to well with unshed tears. “I c-couldn’t help it. I love being of use to you.”
A good answer.
And it’s an entirely honest one, but what Zoro appreciates most about it is that it’s safe.
“You love being of use to me?” Zoro purrs mockingly, a smirk tugging on the corner of his lips as he leans back into the loveseat. “How cute.”
But sometimes he gets off on cutting away the security of the safety net that Sanji happens to fall into.
His voice is as cold as ice when he speaks again, tilting his head questioningly. “You’re nothing more than a filthy fucktoy, aren’t you?”

Summary
What pissed Zoro off most of all was that visually, Sanji was just his type.
Tall. Lean. Not skinny, but built for efficiency.
Muscles well-defined and often used.
Legs for days shown off in those tight fucking suit pants.
But Sanji failed the two key tests Zoro considered before engaging in anything even resembling an intimate relationship.
One, the cook talked too damn much. There were days Zoro wanted to punch him just to get him to shut the fuck up.
Two, Sanji would still be there in the morning. And that was a hard no.
Plus, Zoro was pretty damn sure Sanji’s deal-breaker was that he didn’t fuck men.
