Nightwings gaze snaps to the camera pointed at himself, staring right into the soul of the person behind it. He doesn't even try to hide his concern. A worried leader, who wants to ensure his team's safety.
But underneath it, Dick Grayson's emotions are a lot more simple.
Tim is worried. Cass is frustrated. Jay is terrified. Steph is exhausted. Dami is crying.
And Dick Grayson is angry. So pure, unbridled anger is cursing through his veins, that it calms him down to ice cold, calculating brutality.

Summary
Dick’s luck had finally run out. He knew Bruce would kill him if he found out, it’s not like he meant to get stabbed right before the big Wayne Foundation Spring Gala. He’d just wanted a few hours of Nightwing-time to clear his head, which he honestly deserved if he was going to the gala. Besides, the Wayne clan had an image to maintain, so he would go. Anyway, it was always fun to see Brucie make an appearance, though it may be a little less enjoyable with a stab wound.

Dick gets stabbed on patrol right before a gala, decides it's no big deal, and goes anyway. This may not have been the best plan.
