Summary
The angels have developed an attack to strip reapers of their immortality, and William T. Spears is their very first victim. The once-proud supervisor is left abandoned in the mortal realm without his precious scythe or spectacles to aid him, and he is forced to reacquaint himself with the human world he hasn't lived in for decades. Ronald Knox volunteers to look after the man whom he'd always admired. A task which begins as a burden to the party boy soon develops into a fight for William's survival, as well as an unexpected romance.

So, Ronald and Grell got their asses handed to them on the Campania by that creepy old reaper, and to make matters worse, William added insult to their injuries when he arrived in his rescue dinghy. But what happened when the bloodied and beaten reapers returned home that night after a rough day? Domestic bliss is soured when Ronald's boyfriend gives him the cold shoulder, and no matter how pathetic Ronald tries to look with his runny nose and coughing fits, his love's icy heart remains tricky to melt. Will our blonde protagonist ever get the sympathy he deserves?!

During WWII, Reaper Dispatch in Germany ends up needing assistance in collecting all the souls that became victims to the war and Holocaust. William and Ronald partner up to help on the battlefields collecting the souls of fallen German solders. But War time can test any reaper's limits and break them. This second Great War could prove too much for William T. Spears, and Ronald might be the lifeline he needs to retain his sanity. *Warnings*: Graphic violence, eventual lemons
