    “Date?” Karl swallowed thickly.
    There were muffled sounds coming from the other line before George spoke up, “Yeah, he’s met a bloke named Ciaran or something.”
    “Sounds pretentious,” Karl mumbled.
    Dream laughed loudly directly into Karl’s ear, “Are you jealous, Jacobs?”
    “Are you jealous - no, shut the fuck up.” Karl mocked him, “Who is this guy anyway?”

    Or Karl goes far away for school, leaving behind his friends, but most importantly, leaving behind Sapnap, his ex friends with benefits. He comes home for the holidays to find Sapnap may have moved on.
