His hair was styled in the ponytail he had stopped wearing along with his sword, as if loose hair could help him hide from the hostility and fear of others. His eyes were bright and happy. His lips were curved into the smile that had captured Lan Zhan's heart from the very beginning.
The Wei Ying in front of him was just a boy, not yet tainted by war's harshness and people's cruelty.

Lan Zhan est tellement " wild" qu'il peut paraître OOC mais j'aime bien!
L'intrigue initiale suit le roman mais j'ai l'impression que Wei Ying est déjà mort au moment où Lan Zhan reçoit les 33 coups de fouet spirituel. Tout en redoutant la fin de cette fiction je souhaite vivement le chapitre 10. -

Très intéressant.Je ne vais pas me spoiler alors je ne rentre pas dans les détails mais j'apprécie qu'on expose les différentes formes d'abus que Wei Ying a souffert. J'ai beaucoup apprécié le chapitre 5! Il était génial. Même sans "action" il a toute son importance et son intérêt !Le chapitre 6 était intense et riche! Non c'était le chapitre 7 qui était intense...La pression monte! Chapitre 8 me laisse songeuse.Vraiment cette fiction est très bien écrite et comme Wei Ying j'hésite encore un peu avant de la rajouter à mes favoris mais je pense qu'à l'avenir je pourrai le faire.🤭 Je suis tout à fait d'accord avec Lan Qiren au chapitre 10!🤣 Vivement le chapitre 18 !

Summary
Modern cultivator, Wei Wuxian, dies in a train crash and is sent back in time to the period of Ancient China he had been writing his thesis on - transmigrated into his own body as a child, dying on the streets of Yiling. He has no money, no family, but a knowledge of modern cultivation and of the historical events that are about to unfold.
He recalls the recently-unearthed journal of a woman who was imprisoned in Cloud Recesses against her will, and decides that she’s a good place to start to find someone who might be willing to help him dismantle the corruption that had sent the Cultivation World into the Dark Ages so long ago.
Of course, he had no idea that the person he sought would be the mother of Hanguang-Jun, the object of Wei Wuxian's fascination (“obsession,” his friend had corrected), since he had first learned of his existence in the ancient texts he'd studied.
