Summary
In this Harry Potter AU fanfic, Harry and Hermione are black and both have Asperger's Syndrome. Luna also seems to have Asperger's as well. There have been some other canon divergences, like some OC Slytherins on Harry's side (good Slytherins), Draco got converted to Harry's side, and Sirius got his name cleared and is Harry's guardian. Book four of Harry Potter and the Trouble With Neurotypicals. Update: I will not be finishing this series.

Summary
The world believes Lord Voldemort's been dead since 1981. He wishes for it to stay that way, thank you. It is 1998, now, and Hermione Granger signs up for an international mentorship program as a stepping stone for her after Hogwarts life. Draco Malfoy, never to be one-upped, signs up for the same program and scores Gilderoy Lockhart as his mentor, knowing he is Hermione's first choice. Meanwhile, Hermione is stuck with some obscure, hermit NOBODY that can talk to snakes. Ugh. Her life is the worst.

Carlos was a college student working towards a degree in magiscience. A semester abroad studying in the field was one of the requirements for the degree, so he applied to several places and people as a research assistant - one of whom was famed magizoologist Luna Lovegood.
