“She said she didn’t want the name.” Lena says finally.
Kara doesn’t move. “The name?”
“Luthor.”
Kara hums. “I sure as hell do.”
Lena shifts slightly. “You’re not supposed to.”
Kara turns her head and looks at her with that maddening, grounded affection she seems to carry in surplus. “It sounds like a thunderstorm. Luthor. It’s badass. If I can ever get you to marry me, I’m using that name.”
“You’re ridiculous.”
“I’m serious.” Kara props herself up on one elbow. “It’s powerful and sharp and dramatic. I love it.”
“You love me.”
“I love both,” Kara says, dragging a finger down Lena’s sternum, soft but certain. “But the name is really hot.”
OR
Lena's exes have never quite understood her, so when Lena starts dating Kara and notices she's in no shape or form intimidated or scared by what she sees, by who Lena is, the Luthor magnate is baffled.

Summary
It was the four of them - Lena, Andrea, Sam, and Jess - which meant the barbs would be affectionate, the snacks underwhelming, and the judgments inevitable. They sat around Andrea’s living room, sprawling and cross-legged, expensive throw blankets dragged off the back of armchairs and carelessly tucked around ankles. Jess claimed the entire couch in a diagonal and handed Lena a glass of wine without asking.
“Drink that and try not to look like you’re waiting to be cross-examined.” Jess said.
“I’m not.” Lena replied, sitting primly in the armchair. She took a sip. It was a Viognier, bold and dry. She hated how much she liked it.
Andrea raised an eyebrow. “You are. She is. Isn’t she?”
“She is.” Sam said, lifting her own glass.
Lena exhaled, but not with enough amusement to be read as surrender. “This is going to be about Kara, isn’t it.”
“No,” Andrea said, far too quickly. “It’s going to be about you. Kara is just a… symptom.”
OR
Kara is dating someone whose name starts with an N. Lena wants to chew glass, commit murder and wake up next to Kara. Not necessarily in that order.

Summary
Lena took a deep breath, her voice soft and hesitant. “I… I’ve been thinking about our… sex life.”
Kara’s eyebrows shot up in intrigue, but she kept her face neutral, not wanting to spook Lena. “Go on.”
Lena’s cheeks turned a deeper shade of pink. “It’s not that there’s anything wrong with it. You’re incredible, Kara. We’re incredible. I just… I keep thinking about this… idea. And I can’t get it out of my head.”
Kara leaned closer, her grin widening. “An idea? Do tell.”
Lena squirmed under Kara’s teasing tone, her hands fidgeting with the hem of the blanket. “I want you to wear a… ghostface mask.”

Summary
Continuation of a "Supergirl" story (series now titled "El Mayarah: A Supercorp Saga") that began with my previous work "Five Years ≤ Two and a Half Weeks" and continuing with "Jahremie". Relative to the previous story, "Jahremie", Part Three picks up the very next day.
Reading "Five Years ≤ Two and a Half Weeks" and "Jahremie" is recommended. But if you don't, know: 1.a. Kara and Lena are engaged, 1.b. The difference in their life spans (Kara living hundreds of years) is a Continuing Issue, 2. Alex is a *recovering* alcoholic, 3.a. Cat KNOWS things which shouldn't be humanly possible to know, from some kind of incident with the time-stream, 3.b. Cat has been taking Brainy's Legion Time-Ship (with her assistant of questionable existence, Samantha Arias), but the Super Friends don't know to what end, 3. Kara has been given a week off by Cat, to go to Argo (remnant Krypton), with Lena, to seek Permission&Blessing for the Sacred Bonds (an exalted form of Kryptonian marriage---to which no Kryptonian has ever made with a non-Kryptonian), and 5. Lena has been gifted with a supernatural Kryptonian power, 'The Words at the Time', which Lena can't talk about with Kara or any other Kryptonian: it might fry their brains.
