Fury asked her what made her want to “pay a visit” to their universe? The mysterious Wanda Maximoff-esque figure alluded to a need to destroy something evil, of course. She then remarks that “Your universe is missing a Scarlet Witch, in addition to the fact your universe has something I want.”
Something she craved.
Kate Bishop can’t help but think she’s their universe’s sacrificial lamb.

This is the continuation of "Nick Fury, The U-Haul King", and the hours following that fateful encounter that led to a certain blonde stomping off in the direction of a certain brunette's quarters. Yelena is pretty certain this is going to be a communication dumpster fire; However, Yelena doesn't realize Kate Bishop is fluent in the secret language of the widow.

Summary
After weeks of bureaucratic red tape, Kate’s personal and familial assets are suddenly unfrozen and she finds herself the heir apparent to Bishop Security and unexpectedly wealthy. It was during this frenetic period the familiar Widow Assassin reappeared.
“You run a security business, Kate Bishop - and yet, your alarms are barely suggestions to me to stay out. Given recent events, I will allow you to buy me that drink you owe me. During that drink, we will discuss the fact nothing involving tax fraud and government investigations are…how you say…speedy? There’s no free lunch. Someone has released your assets.”
Kate most likely would have agreed with that logic, had her brain not short circuited ten minutes prior when Yelena uncrossed her legs, deliberately, in front of her.
“You need to be ready, little Hawkling. This is no joke. Someone went to a lot of trouble to make this happen.“ As she slid off the table with a smirk, she whispered, “this may even require TWO drinks to discuss…good thing you’re rich, nowadays.” -
