The mental image festers in Will’s brain.
Mike, still dressed in his ironed, crisp suit after a day of business meetings and boring stock market conversations.
His hair, probably tousled and frizzy from the combination of Maine humidity and Mike’s anxious hands.
Will imagines him leaning up against a wall, too desperate to even walk himself over to a hotel desk chair.
He can almost hear the slick sliding of his spit-soaked palm, the black sleeves of his suit stained white around the wrists, his tie almost completely off.
“You’ll be home soon, baby. We can fuck all we want when we see eachother again.”

Mike's business trip has taken a toll on Will.
It's been two weeks of sex-free living, and Will can't take it anymore.

And sure, it might have been romantic, if Eddie didn’t happen to be in a skirt with a wig and full face of makeup at the time, and Richie hadn’t jogged over to ask him to “please, could you pretend to be my girlfriend so my parents don’t think I’m gay?” Eddie knows that getting involved with a straight boy is a dumb thing to do, but on the other hand Richie is very, very cute, and he doesn’t really have anything else going on today. So he agrees.

Summary
Richie and Eddie bust ghosts, pine hopelessly, and get tangled up in the winding red thread of fate:
The sun is perfect when they finally start filming, just low enough to cast everything in a golden sort of light that almost makes the building look beautiful. Eddie steadies the tripod and gives the thumbs up and then they’re away and Richie has his game face on.
“This is your faithful host speaking, your courageous convoy to all that is chilling and creepy, Richie Trashmouth Tozier.” Richie says, tone deadly serious. “Tonight, we venture beyond the veil, mystery lovers, to a place so disturbing and terrifying my co-host Eddie has refused to venture inside.”
“This is mis-representation.” Eddie protests from behind the camera. “I’m not scared of ghosts, but I draw the line at bacterial infection.”
