Summary
When Bruce Wayne was young, his parents were murdered in front of him. He wanted vengeance. But he also wanted to stop the crime and evil that would lead to the deaths of other innocents like his parents. To do so, he became a vigilante whose name would come to strike fear into the hearts of criminals everywhere, the Batman. However, he was lonely. He lived a life that didn't allow for much company. But then, he met five little boys. Each one of these boys was as lost as he had been. So he took them under his wing, and began to train him. They became his pupils, his partners, and most importantly, his sons. This is their story.

About a week after that, All Might asked Izuku if he was aiming for the hero course at UA. The question was so sudden that Izuku nearly dropped a microwave on his toes.
The truth was, if All Might had asked him that a week ago, there would have only been one possible answer to that question. All Might had gone to UA, UA was the best, so Izuku was going to go there too, if he could. But things were a little different, now that he was going to receive All Might’s Quirk.
“No,” he said, decisively.
All Might looked caught off guard, which was a very rare expression on him. “No?” he echoed, like he couldn’t believe it.
A laugh bubbled out of Izuku’s throat. He honestly couldn’t believe it either. “No,” he repeated.

Danny's death was something he had no choice but to think about.
Having a portal to the afterlife open on top of you at age 14, both killing you and bringing you back to life was hard to ignore. He died and came back weird, with a pounding headache and an ache in his chest.
After getting caught by his parents and getting cut open the summer before college, Danny flees to Gotham.
No idea of what or who is waiting for him there. Or what will follow him to Gotham.
Jason was 15 and running around as the second Robin. His death was on the same day that a portal in an Amity Park basement opened, killed by being beaten by the Joker and left to die in an explosion. He came back 6 months later, mindless and wrong.
Later, he'd get back his mind, but the pits still swirled in his chest.
Now the Red Hood at 19, Jason feels like something's coming, something dangerous.
The pits shift at the thought.
