In the bizarre six years since taking over Passione and butting heads with the Speedwagon Foundation, Giorno had become aware of worlds beyond his own, held to a similar script, but never the same one. Through the highs and lows, one thing was constant: finding another Giorno with Gold Experience never got old. No matter how much the worlds changed, no matter how far apart their times were, enough of him persisted that his Stand remained largely unchanged.
Yet, somewhere out there, in the complicated tangle of will and fate that he couldn’t fathom, variants of him must exist. If there were many of them, Giorno had seen neither hide nor hair of them.

After the events at the Colosseum, Narancia's soul attaches itself to Fugo. The issue (apart from Narancia's soul attaching itself to Fugo) is that no-one but Fugo can hear or feel him. Torn between trying to bring Narancia back, and helping him to move on peacefully, the pair attempt to complete the things on Narancia's bucket list, and Fugo tries to figure out exactly how he's going to live without Narancia by his side.

Trish wakes in a clocktower, tied to a chair, her mind swimming with memories of a dinner party gone wrong.
Beside her, Giorno's head is splotched with scarlet, his lungs punctured- God knows what else wrong with him- along with a note tied around his neck.“Your Don Giovanna only has one hour to live. That is, only if you don’t follow my instructions perfectly.”
Oh, and did she mention her head hurt? Yeah. Maybe from the stress of learning how to drive manual, trial by fire. Giorno snarking remarks from his bucket-seat coffin wasn't helping much either.
Though, him still talking meant he was still living. And she was going to keep it that way.
OR
Giorno gets hurt, real bad, and Trish decides to be the force of nature that fixes him.
