Bruce’s white lenses narrow dangerously at him. He swallows.
Bruce is his dad. He isn’t scared of Bruce.
That’d be stupid.
He sighs. “Was that a good enough mission report?”
Bruce hums. “It was good enough.” His gravelly voice echoes across the cave, and his footsteps do, too, as he walks to the bat computer.

Summary
Midnighter crosses his arms. “So, what’s on Goldilocks' menu?”
Dick finally manages to plaster a smirk on his face, glad at the sudden topic change. “Oh, a ‘please leave’ with a side of ‘get the fuck out of my apartment, you gay Batman.’, nothing too special.”
Midnighter chuckles. “Well, tell the chef I don’t feel like picking from the menu.” He steps closer to dick, eyeing him for a split second. “You look like you’re gonna blow away with a breeze, grayson.” He dryly comments, his crossed arms tightening across his chest.
Dick rolls his eyes. “Oh, what a flatterer.” But Midnighter doesn’t miss the way his jaw tightens a twitch at the comment.
