Ed felt the heat of a blush on his cheeks and shook his head. If there was one person that could make the great pirate captain Blackbeard act like a love-sick teenager, it was Stede Bonnet.
“Nothing. I just love you… a lot.”
Stede relaxed against him, golden curls shining in the sunlight and face glowing with bliss. “I love you too, darling.”
