By the time he gets out of the gate, a hiking backpack high on his shoulders and his headphones hanging around his neck, and walks past the sliding doors, he's fully expecting his dad and Buck to be there, holding up an embarrassing cardboard sign with his name on it. He knows for sure that Buck would try to do something this corny and his dad would relent, because it's Buck, and then they'd hug the hell out of him and finally take him home.
Except nobody's there.

Summary
Eddie distracts him so well with his tongue that Buck genuinely forgets what the question was when they finally pull apart for air, Eddie's eyebrow rising expectantly.
"What?"
"I asked who you belong to," Eddie supplies easily, head dipping just for a moment to place a featherlight kiss on Buck's forearm.
"Obviously it's you." He's not even in the mood to tease anymore, too taken with the way Eddie's eyes focus on him, only on him, soft and warm and just so- Nobody's looked at him like this. Ever.

“Well, tattoos can look like almost anything.” Buck lifts his other arm to show Christopher the null sign on his inner elbow. “Your dad’s is script– uh, words, like this one–” he twists to display the quote on the outside of his forearm. “But I have some that are just shapes.”
Chris nods at this thoughtfully. “Can you color them?”
Buck grins. “You can get them in color, yeah. But all of mine are black.”
Chris glances at his markers, then back at Buck’s arm. “Can I color them?”
