    Yuta wasn't aware that his nipple piercings would somehow become the source of torture amongst the group. Once Donghyuck accidentally revealed that they were senstive (before Yuta even knew of them himself!) he's been tormented endlessly.

    At some point, everyone but Mark has tweaked them at some point. So Yuta was grateful for Mark's seeming benevolence, but, apparently, Mark was just waiting to strike.

    And, oh no. Oh no. With the others, it was just a joke, "oh Yuta's nipples are so sensitive, look at him squirm!" but when Mark gets on his lap and pinches his nipple, Yuta flushes bright red and he can't control himself.

    Yuta swallows, Mark shifts, looks at him, and his lips curl into a smile. Yuta is doomed.

    Maybe he wants to be.

    There’s a dark, bottomless want in his eyes, tongue pushing against his bottom lip as he finds the thread of his words and Mark aches all the way down to his marrow for him. “But, you gave me that same look.” Mark jumps, embarrassment zips down his spine and thickens the heat in his belly like it always does, his wires crossed so badly they must be completely twisted together. “You gave me that same look that you did in the bathroom, like you wanted me so badly you’d let me do anything to you,” Yuta murmurs. Mark is leaning toward him without realizing, needing to hear him over the low thrum of the music downstairs to know that this isn’t a dream. “So, I decided to not let you avoid me anymore.”

    Or, Mark thought he lost his chance with Yuta at once of Johnny's house parties. A year later, Yuta proves him wrong.

    Akaza doesn’t make much of Senjuro’s question as they sit side by side on the couch, quietly sharing space while Senjuro plays on his console and Akaza goes numbly through his phone, sounds from the streets below feeling distant and unreal, as if they were in their own little world.

    “Is that my brother’s sweatshirt?” Senjuro asks, but despite the politeness, something about his tone sends an alarm that only reaches the surface of Akaza’s brain – vaguely unsettling but not clear enough for comprehension.

    “Yup.” He answers nonchalantly, not diverting his eyes from the screen.
