Summary
The 74th Annual Hunger Games is over and Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark managed to do the impossible. They mentored Owen Sparrow, an angry, orphan kid from the Seam, and turned him into a Victor.
Now following this unheard of back-to-back win for District 12, Katniss, Peeta, and Owen must all walk the tightrope they have strung for themselves, as things become more and more uneasy in Panem and more and more dangerous. With the Quarter Quell coming next year, our District 12 Victors must learn how to heal after another traumatic Games, learn to live again, and learn how to fight for another day.

It is because Gale Hawthorne - my best friend, my hunting partner, the boy who strains to keep me alive - killed his district partner in the Game.'Or - Gale goes to the Arena, and Katniss and Peeta never does, but they end up together, anyway. Some things are different, yes, and some things maybe darker for it - but the important things, like Katniss and Peeta and Haymitch... they are the same.

No one has any issue with Nightwing joining the JL, not even the Dark Knight himself. And of course, Nightwing is open and friendly, so when he gets injected with fear gas and calls out for his dad, the JL realize they don't really know him at all
or: based on that one tumblr post where Nightwing gets hurt and calls out for his dad and the JL are surprised Batman is the answer

Summary
Mumbo had been worried about Grian since he joined. Mumbo knew Grian was an admin on a previous server, Evo, and that something had to have happened because Grian had seemed changed. Nothing physical appeared different, Grian looked the same- good old normal G. No, it was his mannerisms and attitude, recently Mumbo would catch Grian staring off in space, like he was mourning something.

Summary
A Hogwarts house isn't everything, but at the same time it is. Your life is shaped by your Hogwarts house, these dormmates become your family in a way. The ideals of this house are yours now too. It's a new family of sorts.
So, when a friend group that is the Gryffindor ideal gets sorted into Slytherin, the trajectory of events is different indeed.
(Sirius's family don't hate him. That's got to be a plus, right? he's the perfect heir. But all the pranks him and James play are suddenly seen as malicious, not lighthearted. And James - he'd still do anything for his friends, but in Slytherin, anything is a bit different. Remus isn't a weird, smart kid but a mysterious and broody dick. Peter's not hanging onto coattails - he's in an environment far more suited to his personality. And with a political party on the rise, they might be pulled into something far more sinister - all in the name of friendship.)
