Summary
When Viago joined House de Riva he wanted power. Power to make him somebody to respect, somebody to fear and somebody influental enough to bring freedom to Antiva, even if he had to overthrow the king, his father, eventually.
When Rook joined House de Riva he wanted the opportunity to kill the bad guys. And somebody to belong to.
As mentioned in the tags there will be mentions of prostitution and underage sex, the House of Petals being a brothel with very young residents, but there won't be any explicit writing about it. There won't be any sexual scenes at all, but the theme will be there.
