Summary
“How did it go? The meeting,” Robin asks, the heavenly sound of her voice making Sanji’s heart expand in his chest.
But being reminded of the meeting and having to think up a response makes his now expanded heart sink. It sinks so hard that Sanji falls back on his ass with the weight of it. He crosses his legs and tries to balance his empty cup of coffee on Yamato’s forehead, where the fringe has parted in two. “It was Hell,” he sighs. “They want me to get into a publicity stunt.”
“Aow! Who’s the lucky lady?” Franky chirps and Sanji looks up and around the room at everything he has. All of it coming with a price. An awful one at that.
“That’s the thing, actually. There won’t be any luck. And there won’t be any lady.”

Summary
Left with only three other crew mates, it’s a ready expectation that Sanji will start fawning all over Robin in his usual obnoxious way. However, that’s not what happens. Instead, looking wild around the eyes in a way only someone who knows him well would recognize, the cook doesn’t break stride until he’s firmly within Zoro’s orbit and can wrap both hands around his upper arm, clinging tight.
“Hi, darling,” he chirps, his expression desperately conveying that Zoro needs to play along under pain of death. “Did you miss me?”

Summary
There’s nothing all too special to him, there never really has been.
Ennoshita Chikara didn’t think there was much harm in not being all too special, not everyone was destined to stand out from the crowd in a significant way. Everyone was unique, some just stood out more naturally than others and that was ok. He just tried to go on with his normal life as much as possible. He begrudgingly got up for morning practice, went through the school day, worked on homework that would be due the next day during their breaks, attended practice in the afternoon, spent time with his team, and then walked by himself to go home, setting about on doing ordinary things. He didn’t have much going on, he had a pretty normal life, and he was just fine to continue on with that. No one needed a spectacular life in order for it to be fulfilling, and with his studies and volleyball, that seemed like enough.
Sometimes though, he felt normal. Really normal.
