    Summary

    Hannah Watson is a returning veteran home from the Afghanistan campaigns, with more nightmares, PTSD-that-isn't-quite, and emotional baggage than most people own pairs of shoes. Her mundane, miserable existence is upended very literally one day while she's out on her routine trip out from her flat. She runs into Sherlock Holmes and, by extension of that encounter, Greg Lestrade. Needless to say, Hannah's life is never going to be the same again. A rogue Consulting Detective with as many problems as she has and a heart of gold might just be what Hannah needs to make a difference in her life. She has certainly made a difference in his, even if she doesn't recall doing so as clearly as he does. Even if there's a history between them they have both forgotten.
