His feet hit the grass and he ran. He ran towards the park he goes to every time this happens. Every time someone raised their voice at home. Whether around him or at him. He’d run, because loud noises scared him, because what they were yelling was mean, because he didn’t want to listen to his parents’ relationship become torn at the seams all because he didn’t have a quirk.

I am here.
A simple sentence with so many interpretations and meanings.
To some it’s a egotistical declaration. (i am here, there’s no way anything could go wrong)
To others it’s a sign of hope. (you don’t need to worry, i am here, i’ll keep you safe, i’ll fight for you)
But to a family full of broken survivors, it’s a promise that you will never be alone again.
Izuku Yagi has had a hard life;
Finding out he was quirkless. His best friend leaving him. Losing his mother. Being kidnapped by his father. Finding out he wasn’t quirkless at all. Plus all the horrors he went through along the way.After battling his way through hell and becoming his own kind of demon, the boy is finally ready to take on his greatest challenge yet…
Highschool.
Oh well.
At least he’s got an amazing family to help and fight alongside him in his journey to become the greatest hero in the world.

For Keigo's own sake, he needed to end this game as soon as possible. He knew just the questions to ask that would get Rumi out. The bird themed hero smirked, "I'll go first since you two were the ones who begged me to play".
Midoriya snorted and muttered something under his breath. Hawks, in an incredible show of maturity, decided to ignore said comment. "Never have I ever...stabbed someone with a fork." Keigo finished with a smug grin. Just as he planned, two fingers went down.
Wait. Two fingers?
The moment that thought processed the blond man's head whipped around to stare at the teen to his left. Midoriya blinked and held his questioning gaze for a moment before simply shrugging. A lazy grin appearing at the loud cackles from Rumi.
"Keep this one Kei! I'm already in love!" the woman wheezed through her laughter.
In other words, I stumbled upon the hawks adopts izuku tag and fell so in love I wrote a fic at 1am.
