In her brief foray into the world of romance novels on March’s insistence, Stelle had read a lot of words about intense emotions shared between lovers and while it all sounded wonderful and perfect and filled with fireworks and flowers and over-dramatic platitudes, she now knew that there weren’t enough words in the whole universe to describe how it actually felt when it was real, when the person in front of or beside you was the objection of your attention and affection and you were theirs and not just something written on the pages of a cheap novel.
