Summary
Lestat was a stranger or an antagonist or a parasite burrowing desperate suckers into Louis’ already-empty vasculature. They lived together like a man trapped in a house with a dangerous exotic animal, switching roles occasionally, two beings who had no knowledge of one another’s needs and no common language with which to communicate their own.
Near the end of his time at Pointe du Lac, Louis reckons with the void.
